What a Small Business Website Costs in Amarillo
By Lauren Burrell · · 3 min read

If you run a small business in Amarillo and you've asked around about a website, you've probably heard everything from "a few hundred bucks" to "call for a quote." That makes it hard to plan. Here's what a website costs with us, what changes the price, and what you should get for the money.
The short answer
A small business website with Thrive costs $750 to $1,150. The price depends on how many pages you need and whether your team wants to update the site themselves. Sites that need more than pages, like logins or online payments, are quoted separately.
Every price is in a written proposal before any work starts.
What each package includes
Starter: $750
Three to five pages, live in two to three weeks. This is the right fit for most businesses that just need a clean, credible site: home, services, about and contact.
You get a custom design in your colors and fonts, not a template. It works on phones, tablets and desktops. It has click-to-call, email and contact buttons, a security certificate, and page titles and descriptions set up for Google. It includes one round of revisions. You provide the text and photos.
Medium: $950
Six to fifteen pages, live in three to four weeks. Everything in Starter, plus a separate page for each service, a photo gallery or project portfolio, a contact form that emails you, and a Google map with a link to your reviews.
Large: $1,150
Sixteen to twenty-five pages, live in four to six weeks. Everything in Medium, plus an admin area so your team can change text and photos, an inbox for form submissions, a walkthrough showing your staff how to update the site, and two rounds of revisions.
Custom builds
Some sites need more than pages. Client portals, logins, online payments, application forms with a database, a dashboard showing who visits your site. We quote those after a call, because they depend on what you need.
What changes the price
Five things move the number:
- Where your site lives. Already on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace? We can work with your site there. If it needs more than the platform can do, we build it from scratch.
- Pages. More pages take more design and more building.
- Who updates it. If your team wants to edit the site without calling anyone, you need an admin area. That starts at the Large package.
- Features beyond pages. Logins, payments and databases are custom work.
- Whether you have a brand yet. If you don't have a logo, we can design one first. Our Logo and essentials package is $450, and a Full identity is $800. We can do the brand and the website as one project.
What it costs after launch
Hosting is billed through us during the build. At launch, the hosting account moves to you, and you pay the hosting company directly.
If you don't want to think about the site after it's live, we offer care plans. Basic care is $55 a month for Starter and Medium sites. It covers security updates, monthly backups, and up to an hour of small edits a month. Plus care is $75 a month for Large sites and adds database backups and up to two hours of edits. Care plans are optional.
A real Amarillo example
The Classic Rollers Car Club has been part of Amarillo since 1985, and every event it hosts raises money for the Ike Avery Scholarship Fund. We designed and built the club's website around the three things people come to do: join, give, and show up.
Officers post events and photos through their own admin login, without calling a developer. New members apply online, and the application goes straight to a club officer. You can read the case study to see how it came together.
What about social media?
Our social media management is $450 to $800 a month, depending on how many posts a week and how many accounts. That covers the content calendar, graphics, video editing, captions and posting. You approve everything before it goes out.
Why we work with Amarillo businesses
